So I posted this because I just love how clearly she puts this. It has a strong word behind it and I hope you can see it. I am also proud that she has tried with the poem writing and I'm very grateful that she would send it to me to see if it is good or not. I can tell you that it is better that good. It is amazingly great!

Love
I have a heart that needs to be filled,
With the love of one.
Love that can be given by him,
One that loved, but gave greatly.
Gave all of him and asked for little.
Just wants us to ask for his love, to need his love,
To want nothing but his love.

I want his love, I crave, I need,
To be filled with his love.
The love of a savior, a son, and a friend.
The love of Jesus Christ.

The one who came and died.
The one who loves the loveless,
Helps the helpless, who watches the needless,
And stays with the ones who have left.

This love is forever and loves me.

Birthday Poem!!

So this a poem I wrote for my best friend (Kaitlin's) 17 birthday. I personally think it's really good.

Yesterday you were 16
But today you are 17
If I were to tell you
That 17 is nothing special
That it is just another year
Or another birthday
Then that would make me a liar
17 may not be as exciting as 16
But as sure as I am a cow…
It is a whole lot closer to 18
But don't let growing up scare you
It only adds to the stress of everyday
Growing up is a blessing
And as far as I can tell…
You are well on your way
You have the mind and heart
That most teenagers don't
Which is why it is hard to find a friend like you
You always know the right thing to say
To cheer someone up
Even when they don't really feel like smiling…
You will bug them until they do
You are a great friend
Someone who always cares
The one I can always look to
Because I know your always there
That is why you are my best friend
I can tell you my secrets
And you understand my thoughts
Without a friend like you
I would still be lost

The Bond Between our friendship! Kaitlin Bash and Me

God is our foundation; without him our relationship would not be as strong. The trust bond that we have is made stronger by each of our relationships with God. The closer we get to him the stronger our bond grows. If one if us loses faith or drops our grasp on him; the relationship between us is weakened. But that doesn’t mean that we won’t do everything we can to help one another find our way again. We being the best friends that we are were made possible by God. Our love for him and our heart for others is what bind us to his side. That is what our relationship has been made stronger by. Our passion and love for God is what brought us to where we are today as friends. The two of us were so shy and caught up in our comfort zones until God stepped in and took control. We have helped bring out the best in each other. For that reason, we have been able to say goodbye to our comfort zones. All this is thanks to God and our foundation being built in him.
